What types of items do school health offices need?

These are the types of items school nurses have requested in the past. We are open to other requests as well!

Menu

Sensory tools

Items a student can hold to assist in emotional regulation

Tactile (Touch):

Play dough, sensory putty, textured stress balls, and kinetic sand help kids explore different textures and calm busy minds

Proprioception (Body Awareness)

Weighted blankets, lap pads, resistance bands, and compression items provide deep pressure input to help children feel grounded.

Visual & Auditory

Liquid motion timers, calming tubes, and noise-reducing headphones help reduce anxiety and overstimulation from loud or busy environments.

Personal care items
